Recently, the labor union’s new plan of recuperating provided a paid recuperation for male employees having worked for 35 years and female employees having worked for 30 years. The senior employees who have never enjoyed convalescent treatment could join the plan. The Group currently has a total of 1,400 employees who meet the working age conditions. The new plan involved all the external development units. According to statistics, a total of more than 100 people in the external development units are eligible for this paid recuperation.
In addition to relying on health care treatments provided by the Rizhao Sanatorium, this recuperation organized employees to visit the Nanjing Yuhuatai Martyrs Memorial Hall, the Memorial Hall of the Nanjing Massacre Victims, and the Patriotic Education Base of Huai'an Zhou Enlai's Former Residence in one week.
The Group’s labor union and Rizhao Sanatorium attached great importance to the recuperation activities. Based on the full investigation and study of the tour routes and dietary accommodations in the previous period, they also supervised the recuperation groups’ food, accommodation and transportation conditions in the all journey to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
Li Qingchun, an employee from Baodian Coal Mine, told reporters that he would retire immediately. He was very impressed with this treatment and was very happy. He did not expect to participate in the convalescence of the labor union before retirement.
It was the first time for Yankuang Group to use the working ages as the standard. It was understood that at the end of February this year, the Group’s labor union began to investigate employees’ recuperation, and issued a recuperation notice at the beginning of May. This activity was also one of the measures taken by the Group to mobilize and inspire the enthusiasm of employees and enhance the sense of well-being of all the employees.
