On June 13, the technical proposal on the complete set of fully-mechanized TCC technology and mining equipment development project for 7 meters big cutting height (“big cutting height TCC technology and mining equipment” or “the project”) developed by Yankuang Group was certified by expert panel of China Coal Industry Association. The expert panel viewed that the general technical proposal on application of big cutting height TCC technology and mining equipment in coal mines in Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia area is feasible, which can increase the resource recoverable ratio and safety production to the maximum.
Mr. Li Wei, the general manager of Yankuang Group said, Yankuang, as a national technology innovation and IP demonstration enterprise, has always been the pioneer and practitioner of technology innovation, and has been engaged in application practice of homemade mining equipment. With focus on automation and informationization, it has also made R&D in mining equipment development and improved manufacturing technology through cooperation with sci-tech research institutes. The hydraulic support for 8.3 meters cutting height developed by Yankuang has become into the world largest fully-mechanized mining equipment.
Mr. Li Wei cordially invited the concern and support by China Coal Industry Association and the academician experts as always, and believed that Yankuang can push equipment manufacturing to a new level so as to build the core competitiveness of development.
The expert panel, constituted by the academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, namely Mr. Peng Suping, Mr. Gu Dazhao, Mr. Wu Qiang and Mr. Wang Guofa, the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. He Manchao, the Vice Chairman of China Coal Industry Association, Mr. Liu Feng and other sci-tech researchers from national sci-tech research institute and coal enterprises, made comments and suggestion on the feasibility of mining technology, the rationality of complete set of equipment and the design of hydraulic support, and made site visit of the sample of hydraulic support. The expert panel expects that the application will push the core technology of fully-mechanized TCC technology to a higher level, leading the development of thick coal seam mining technology both in China and around the world.
