To further maintain and extend coal markets in Japan and Korea, ensure the steady growth of coal sales of Yancoal Australia, as well as to inspect and learn the advanced techologies of clean use of coal in Japan, hydrogen energy resource and Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (“IGCC”), a delegation headed by Mr. Li Wei, General Manager of Yankuang Group, visited the old and new coal customers in these two countries from September 26 to October 6.
The delegation visited 13 companies covering Kansai Power Corporation of Japan, Shikoku Electric Power Corporation, POSCO and KOSPO. Through in-depth communications with these clients, the delegation has got deeper learning on their demands and expectations, deepened mutual understanding and trust and promoted the willingness of further cooperation. The delegation also visited the headquarters of Toshiba, inspected Toyota Hydrogenation Station and Japan Light Research Institute, etc.
Mr. Li Wei asked all the members of the delegation to learn the managerial experience and advanced technologies of Toshiba and Japan Light, learn from other's strong points to offset weakness, thus to promote the transformation and development of the Group in the field of clean use of coal, hydrogen energy resource as well as efficient and clean power generation.
