From December 4 to 7, Hong Kong Shandong Week 2018 was held under its theme “Choose Shandong and Share Opportunity”. Mr. Li Xiyong, the Chairman of Yankuang Group and the Secretary of Yankuang Committee of the CPC, attended this event.
On the morning of December 5, the International Capital Promotes Shandong’s Top 10 Industries Conference was held. The 256 projects were sheltered and introduced at the conference, and Mr. Li Xiyong had in-depth discussion with participants from other enterprises and relevant parties. While the development of top 10 industries is a prime focus at the conference, considering the "Belt and Road Initiative", more projects with cooperation potentials would be introduced for all sectors of Hong Kong to invest in Shandong.
On the afternoon of December 5, the International Exchange and Cooperation for Shandong SOE was held, and Mr. Li Xiyong delivered a keynote speech. He said that Shandong Week promotes economic and trade cooperation among Shandong’s enterprises, and drives them to become stronger and bigger. Yankuang actively participates the "Belt and Road Initiative", follows the guidance of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government on “Cultivating Transnational Enterprises from Shandong”. With the goal of building a world-class green energy supplier and an international mining group, Yankuang will steadily grow its business in Australia, Canada and Latin America, improve global industrial chain layout capability and international competitiveness via capital operation and innovation.
Mr. Li Xiyong introduced the investment by Yankuang Group in Australia, Canada and Latin America and its future plan. He said Yankuang will achieve global presence driven by intelligence, adopt global vision, international standards and actively undertake SOE’s responsibilities, strengthen cooperation with domestic and international first-class enterprise to build large-scale energy base in Australia, to promote emerging business in Latin America for Internationalization and to construct potash resources supply base in Canada, thus to promote its position on the Fortune Global 500 list and to accelerate its speed to be a world first-class green energy suppliers and international mining group.
