Mr. Li Wei Attended the 40th Anniversary Symposium on the Reform and Opening-up

On December 27, the China Coal Industry Association held a symposium in Beijing to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up. Mr. Li Wei, the General Manager of Yankuang Group, as the representative of model workers in the coal industry, delivered a speech on Yankuang’s multinational development and its coal chemical projects.

According to Mr. Li, aiming to accelerate the construction of a world-class mining conglomerate and green energy supplier, Yankuang will steadily grow its business in Australia, Canada and Latin America to improve global industrial chain layout capability and international competitiveness. Yankuang has made its Australian arm the largest listed pure coal company in Australia, owned rich and high-quality potassium mineral resources in North America, and now is expanding emerging business in Latin America for Internationalization .

Mr. Li said that with the goal of building fine chemical industry park, Yankuang is accelerating the adjustment and upgrading of its chemical business, and now has the annual production capacity of 1 million tons of oil products, 9 million tons of methanol, acetic acid, urea and downstream products, and the sales volume of methanol ranks first in China.

Mr. Li said that Yankuang will seize the opportunities brought by the economic globalization and regional integration trend, actively participate the " Belt and Road Initiative " and strengthen cooperation with domestic and international first-class enterprise to build large-scale energy base in Australia, to promote emerging business in Latin America for Internationalization and to construct potash resources supply base in Canada. Yankuang will also transform and upgrade the safety production of the chemical industry, extend the industrial chain, increase the added value of our products, and accelerate the development of high-end coal chemical industry clusters, thus to promote its position on the Fortune Global 500 list.
